2021 Rita Medeiros Grant

Rita Medeiros passed away 12/24/20 from Stage 4 cancer. It moved very quickly and it was sudden. She loved our community and jumped right in when we first asked if anyone would join the movement, and her group was the 1st created outside of Philadelphia.

For those who knew Rita, she was an absolute class act. Always giving, supportive and a "make it happen" type of person. She was born in Berlin Germany, and grew up in US. She was a psychiatric registered nurse, former Dale Carnegie Instructor, motivational speaker, with her own business giving corporate seminars.

She raised 2 millennial entrepreneurial children, & enjoyed a 2 year old granddaughter. She was a single woman, buy & hold investor specializing in out of state investing who created passive income with a purpose providing safe affordable housing to single moms & their young children thru the section 8 program.

She purchased 22 single-family homes in 11 months and we featured her story on Episode #64 of our podcast. Most recently, she assisted her daughter in purchasing 25 free & clear rentals as well.

"Just keep spreading the word & feel free to use my story to motivate others. If not for real estate I would not have as much financial peace of mind during this devastating diagnosis. Thank you for the opportunity & for all you do, keep up the fight, for many women it can mean financial life or death."
